 mkoenig8104.02.09 Great lake for every type of fish, crappie, bass, striper, cat, you name it this lake has a surplus of fish to fish for. From what I hear there are 100+ pound catfish in the Dam area! Excellent community home of governors row where you will find many race car drivers homes and other people with houses that cost wayyy too much... awesome place! |
 mikekoenig04.02.09 I have to agree. Ive heard stories of some huge catfish. Not sure what type of line you would use to haul a fish that big in with. Im guessing you would need some 100lb test line. There are some great houses as well. Very well to do people live in Lake Norman. |
 MrNovember04.10.09 Does anyone have any information about noodling? Is this a good spot? Ive read but never practiced the sport, but its said with the right tools you can noodle a catfish as big 100+. Caution though, this isnt a solo act, you would likely need a friend or three.  mattsfishingirl09.25.09 I personally like the catfish here.. Its a huge lake and u can definitely hit some good spots. Beautiful houses on the lake that make it even better. great place to take your girl and let her dream :) |
